Crean Lutheran High School, Fast5Xpress of Tustin, and Bandai Namco have been recognized for significant water savings, achieving WaterStar status. The school saves 9.2 million gallons annually through efficient water use and recycling. Fast5Xpress car wash saves 1.8 million gallons annually by recycling water and using eco-friendly detergents. UCI's Track Star Lauren Collins to be Inducted into Athletics Hall of Fame

Lauren Collins, a former gymnast turned track & field athlete, made significant decisions throughout her athletic career without regrets. Starting gymnastics at five, she switched to track & field in high school, excelling in high jump and hurdles. She chose to attend UC Irvine over UCLA, achieving success in collegiate track & field, including two NCAA Championship appearances and setting school records. Despite injuries and a brief aim at the Olympic Trials, Collins transitioned to sports modeling and later co-founded a fitness business, SISSFiT, with her sister. Her journey culminated in being inducted into the UC Irvine Athletics Hall of Fame, recognizing her athletic and academic achievements.

Diaba Konate Earns Anteater of the Week with Stellar Performances in UCI Basketball Victories

Diaba Konate was named Anteater of the Week for outstanding performances in two wins for UCI, showcasing impressive stats including an average of 12 points, 6 assists, and 3.5 steals per game with a flawless assist-to-turnover ratio.

Irvine Valley Women's Basketball Secures Victory Over Fullerton with 70-57 Win

The Irvine Valley women's basketball team defeated Fullerton 70-57, marking their third conference win and 12th overall. Makena Tomlinson starred with 30 points and 13 rebounds, leading a strong second-half performance. The Lasers now stand at 12-6 overall and 3-1 in the conference, while Fullerton drops to 10-8 and 1-3.
