Irvine's OC Plaza Sold for $10.6M: TRP Investment Group to Transform into Tax Consultancy Hub

TRP Investment Group LLC purchased the OC Plaza in Irvine for $10.6 million to serve as the new headquarters for Tax Resolution Plus. The 28,000-square-foot property, located near the 405 Freeway, will undergo renovations for office and event space. The cost was $379 per square foot, with representation from Berkshire Hathaway Homeservices and Property Group International.

During this season, mule deer in the Landmarks might be confused with Santa's reindeer, but they are distinct species. Both reindeer and mule deer bucks grow new antlers annually. Reindeer inhabit northern and Arctic areas, while mule deer are native to the Americas, from Alaska to Baja California. Paid Spring 2024 internships are available at Segerstrom Center for the Arts in various departments, including ballet, community engagement, education, marketing, special events, and theater operations. UC Irvine Men's Soccer: 9 Wins, 5th Big West Title, and Top National Player Rankings in 2023

In 2023, UC Irvine men's soccer had a successful season, finishing 9-7-4, winning their 5th Big West Championship, and making their 7th NCAA Tournament appearance. The team, under Coach Raz, featured top recruits from his 2019 class, with some now playing professionally. They excelled against ranked teams and had a strong defense, leading to 40% shutouts. The team was diverse in scoring, with 9 different players scoring game-winning goals. Key players received numerous awards, including seven All-Big West honors and three All-Far West Region accolades. Goalkeeper Luke Pruter stood out with top national rankings in minutes and shutouts. The team's defense was a highlight, while their attack improved significantly towards the season's end. Coach Raz led the team to its first Big West Championship under his tenure and a notable performance in the NCAA Tournament, despite a first-round exit. UCI's national standing was notable in defense and individual player performances.

UCI Men's Basketball's Valiant Effort Falls Short Against No. 25 San Diego State in Thriller

In a nail-biting basketball matchup, No. 25 San Diego State edged out UC Irvine with a 63-62 victory. The game was marked by UC Irvine's impressive second-half performance, where they shot over 50%. Justin Hohn was the standout player for UC Irvine, leading the scoring with 16 points, which included hitting four three-pointers. Freshman Derin Saran also made a significant impact, especially in the second half, with his efficient scoring and defensive contributions. The climax of the game saw a dramatic comeback by SDSU, highlighted by a crucial layup from Micah Parrish and a pivotal three-pointer by Darrion Trammell. The game was intensely competitive, featuring numerous lead changes. UC Irvine is set to face South Dakota next at the Bren Events Center.

From Irvine Valley to Ottawa University: Kailey Earl's Stellar Journey as a Scholar Athlete

Kailey Earl, a former Irvine Valley women's soccer player, was named a scholar athlete at Ottawa University in Arizona. She met the NCCAA criteria with a junior standing, varsity letter, and a GPA above 3.40. Earl, a senior defender, contributed to her team's 14-4-1 record and Round of 16 NAIA National tournament appearance. Previously, she was a standout freshman defender at IVC, starting all 21 matches in fall 2021.

In Irvine, two suspects stole $1,700 worth of Legos and alcohol from Target and $2,000 in alcohol from Albertsons. They were seen leaving in a grey 2007 Toyota Camry. Irvine Police seek help in identifying them; contact [email protected] with information.

A resident returned from vacation to find a woman with her kitchen utensils in her closet. The intruder, who fled leaving her slippers behind, had stolen items like a TV, credit cards, and purses from the apartment. The suspect, identified as neighbor Wendy Wilkinson, 43, from Irvine, was arrested for burglary and possession of stolen property. The stolen items were found in her home and storage unit. #IrvineCrime
