Woodbridge Warriors Rally to Victory, Splitting Decisive Games in Baseball Invitational

Woodbridge High School's baseball team experienced mixed results in the Ryan Lemmon Invitational. They initially faced a defeat against Davis from Kaysville, Utah, with a final score of 7-4 in an eight-inning game that extended due to a tiebreaker rule. Despite leading 4-2 at one point, Woodbridge couldn't maintain their advantage, allowing Davis to clinch the win with strategic hits in the eighth inning.

However, Woodbridge managed to secure a victory later that day, defeating Calvary Chapel 5-2 in a makeup game. This win was highlighted by strong pitching performances from Alex Johnson and Owen Montgomery, and key offensive contributions from Vincent De Marco and Skyler Miura. The split leaves Woodbridge with an overall positive outlook, showcasing their resilience and ability to bounce back from earlier setbacks.
