Transitioning from an architect to a global baking sensation, she has been invited to bake in over 30 countries, including a notable event at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art. A strategy developed to lower hospitalizations in nursing homes, led by Dr. Susan Huang and Loren G. Miller, has earned the 2023 Top Ten Clinical Research Achievement Award. This innovative approach, involving nearly 14,000 residents across 28 California nursing homes, utilized chlorhexidine antiseptic soap and nasal antiseptics to significantly reduce infections and antibiotic-resistant pathogens. Funded by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality and published in the New England Journal of Medicine, the study showcases the protective benefits of antiseptic products. The award highlights the project's contribution to clinical research, with potential impacts on disease prevention and treatment.
