March 5 election ballots sent to registered voters. Irvine voters decide on Measure D, which could expand City Council to six members with a mayor elected at large and switch to district elections.

UCI Women's basketball Overcome Highlanders in Fourth Quarter Surge to Clinch Victory

In a decisive fourth quarter, UC Irvine's women's basketball team overcame UC Riverside with a 19-8 run, sealing a 62-53 win. The Anteaters' late-game surge, highlighted by a 14-3 run and robust defense, limited UCR to just one field goal in the final minutes.
