Tustin Hangar Fire Update: No Health Hazards from Tustin Hangar Fire, Extra Monitoring in Effect

The City is actively monitoring the Tustin Hangar Fire, focusing on potential health risks for Irvine. There's been constant communication with various county and health agencies, but no concerning health risks for Irvine have been identified. Outdoor activities remain safe unless visible ash from the fire is present. The City is checking facilities for fire debris and ash, especially after recent Santa Ana winds, and found none in Irvine. Extra monitoring and testing are planned near Irvine's border with Tustin, particularly in 9 parks, to ensure safety. The City will keep the community updated.
