UC Irvine Women's Soccer got a much-needed Big West victory Sunday night defeating UC Riverside, 2-0
UC Irvine women's soccer team secured a crucial 2-0 win against UC Riverside at Anteater Stadium. The match saw UC Irvine dominate with a 16-2 shot advantage. Alyssa Moore had a notable performance, hitting the post early on and later scoring the second goal. Aislynn Crowder scored the first goal via a penalty. Glo Hinojosa achieved her 26th career shutout. Notable milestones include Crowder's first collegiate goal, Creighton's second assist of the season, Moore's 18th career goal, and Ragon and de Bakker playing their 50th matches as Anteaters.
Emma Napoleon's Stellar Debut Powers UC Irvine to Sweep CSUN 3-0
Emma Napoleon led UC Irvine to a 3-0 win over CSUN with a standout performance of 13 kills in her first career start. Isabella Scarlett also shined with a .727 hit rate on nine kills. With this win, UCI's record is now 4-4 in the Big West and 6-13 overall, while CSUN drops to 4-15 for the year and 2-6 in the league.

Irvine PD's DET Team Nabs Felon with Outstanding Warrant
Irvine PD's Directed Enforcement Team (DET) focuses on crime trends and quality-of-life issues in our City.
Recently, DET developed information about an Irvine resident with a felony warrant for burglary and assault with a deadly weapon. Tenacity and good police work led to the man’s arrest on Friday. #dontcommitcrimeinirvine
