Discover How You Can Volunteer at Citywide Serve Day 2026

Learn how you can get involved in making a difference at the Citywide Serve Day Info Session on Wednesday, August 12, at 3 p.m. Hosted in partnership with the City of Irvine, the session will explain how volunteers can participate in community service projects like park beautification, food drives, senior support, and more. Last year, over 750 volunteers completed 30 projects, and this year's Citywide Serve Day will take place on November 7. The info session is open to anyone interested, with no obligation to volunteer.

Symphony in the Cities Returns to Irvine on August 15

Pack a picnic, bring a lawn chair or blanket, and enjoy a free evening of live music at Symphony in the Cities: Irvine on Saturday, August 15 at Mike Ward Community Park β Woodbridge. The family-friendly event begins with a Musical Playground at 5:30 p.m. featuring hands-on activities, crafts, games, and a drum circle for kids, followed by the Pacific Symphony concert at 7 p.m. Enjoy a mix of popular classics, movie favorites, Broadway hits, and patriotic music.

Irvine Animal Care Center Hosts Affordable Pet Vaccine & Microchip Clinics

The Irvine Animal Care Center is hosting two low-cost mobile pet wellness clinics to help keep pets healthy with vaccinations and microchipping.
Vet Care Vaccination Services (VCVS) will be available on July 25 from 9β11 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis.
HEART will offer services on July 28 from 5:30β8:30 p.m. by reservation.
Both clinics will take place in the Irvine Animal Care Center parking lot at 6443 Oak Canyon, Irvine.

UC Irvine Women's Basketball Earns WBCA Academic Honor Roll Recognition

UC Irvine women's basketball earned WBCA Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll Special Mention after finishing the 2025β26 academic year with a team GPA of 3.469. This marks the third time in the last five years the Anteaters have received the academic recognition.
