Ventura’s brand portfolio includes LouAna Cooking Oil and Sauce Craft.
Construction Begins on Cultural Terrace West at Great Park, Set for 2026 Completion

Construction is underway at the Cultural Terrace West in Great Park to develop a 70-acre cultural hub, starting this June with Pretend City and Orange County Music and Dance.
The City has already completed demolition and grading, with building pads prepped.
Additional city-led projects—like parking, landscaping, Building 369 upgrades, and the Championship Bridge—will proceed alongside partner timelines.
The full site is expected to be finished by the end of 2026, offering new community spaces for arts, music, and play.

Tips for Managing Neck and Back Pain at Home and When to Seek Care

Neck and back pain are common issues tied to sedentary lifestyles. Here are key tips and when to seek help:
At-Home Relief:
Use ice or heat packs
Do light stretching and posture exercises
Avoid long periods of sitting
Sleep on a supportive mattress
Stay hydrated
Use ergonomic chairs and work setups
Visit Urgent Care If:
Pain persists or spreads to limbs
Tingling or numbness occurs
You have trouble walking or gripping objects
Pain follows an injury

Help Keep Your Home Mosquito-Free with These Easy Tips

As summer temperatures rise, so does mosquito activity—bringing with it the risk of bites and disease. While the Orange County Mosquito and Vector Control District works to treat larger areas, residents can help reduce mosquito populations by targeting small breeding grounds around their homes. Simple actions make a big difference:
dump any standing water
use EPA-registered insect repellent
wear long sleeves during peak mosquito hours (dawn and dusk)
check that window and door screens are in good condition
Visit MosquitoesSuck.org for more prevention tips.

Meet Paul Hyun, Cello and Violin Instructor Based in Irvine

Paul Hyun, a professional cellist with degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, is now based in Irvine as a faculty member at FreshStart Music Studio. He teaches cello and violin to students aged 7 and up, offering lessons, coaching, and competition prep. His students have gone on to earn performance degrees, win contests, and join elite orchestras. Paul also founded Improvicelli, a group blending classical and modern music through live cello improvisation, aiming to make cello music more accessible and exciting for today's audiences.
We will resume with the high school music calendar events when the schedule is available for the fall semester.

Pet Safety Tips for Warm Weather: Hydration and Shade

Summer has arrived, and it’s the perfect time to enjoy the sunshine with your pets—here are some ways to help keep them stay cool and hydrated.
Offer fresh water often, and bring a portable bowl when you’re out and about.
If your pet seems tired, pants heavily, or isn’t drinking, take a shady break together.
