Stress and sleep: Magnesium plays a role in relaxation, sleep, and the body’s response to stress.
Immune health: Zinc, vitamin E, and antioxidants help support normal immune function.
Healthy weight: Protein, fiber, and healthy fats can help promote fullness and reduce unnecessary snacking.
Overall nutrition: Pumpkin seeds provide a variety of important minerals and beneficial plant compounds.

Fall Treats Your Dog Can Enjoy—and Foods to Avoid

Fall brings plenty of seasonal favorites, but some foods are much safer for dogs than others. Here are some tips so your pup can enjoy the season safely— as always it is a good idea to check with your veterinarian before introducing a new food.
Dog-Friendly Fall Foods
Pumpkin: Plain pumpkin provides fiber and nutrients that can support digestion.
Sweet potatoes: A nutritious source of fiber, vitamins, potassium, and beta-carotene.
Natural peanut butter: A tasty source of protein, but make sure it is xylitol-free.
Apples: A crunchy, fiber-rich treat—just remove the seeds and core first.
Foods to Avoid
Pumpkin-flavored sweets: Pies, pumpkin spice drinks, and other desserts may contain too much sugar or unsafe ingredients.
Turkey bones: Raw or cooked bones can splinter and cause choking or digestive blockages.
Grapes and raisins: These are toxic to dogs and can cause serious kidney problems.
Onions and garlic: Garlic, onions, chives, and leeks can be harmful to dogs.
