Creating Respectful School Cultures: How IUSD is Tackling Bullying This October

October is National Bullying Prevention Month, and IUSD schools are actively participating to foster kind and respectful environments. Bullying prevention is a collective effort involving students, staff, and families, focusing on education and promoting positive behaviors. IUSD implements Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) across all schools, offers various social-emotional supports, and encourages positive digital citizenship through the Common Sense Media curriculum. Students are urged to speak up against bullying, with anonymous reporting systems in place. For more information and resources, visit IUSD's dedicated web pages on bullying prevention, mental health, and counseling services.
