Irvine Police Seek Public’s Help Finding Missing 68-Year-Old Woman

Irvine Police are asking for the public’s help locating 68-year-old Vera Anne LeBlanc, who was last seen around 7:30 p.m. yesterday near Warner Avenue and Jamboree Road. She may be walking in the area and could be lost. Vera was wearing a dark blue or black shirt, oversized blue sweatpants, and dark shoes with white soles. Police say she has medical conditions that may make it difficult for her to communicate or find her way home. Anyone who sees Vera or knows where she may be is asked to call 9-1-1.

From Better Sleep to Hydration: Tips to Reduce Fall Migraine Triggers

Fall can bring more migraine triggers due to seasonal allergies, changing weather and barometric pressure, and shorter daylight hours that may disrupt sleep. Simple lifestyle habits and changes may help reduce the frequency of migraines.
Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water and include water-rich foods in your diet.
Eat a balanced diet: Choose lean proteins, whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and magnesium-rich foods such as nuts, seeds, milk, and eggs.
Know your food triggers: Keep track of foods that seem to bring on migraines, such as chocolate, processed meats, dried fruit, or certain dairy products.
Manage stress: Try breathing exercises, meditation, gardening, music, or other relaxing activities.
Keep a regular sleep schedule: Go to bed and wake up around the same time each day and limit screens before bedtime.
Use pain medication carefully: Follow your doctor’s directions and avoid frequent use of headache medications, which can sometimes cause rebound headaches.
Watch your caffeine: Too much caffeine—or sudden changes in intake—may trigger migraines in some people.
Reduce light exposure: Sunglasses or light-filtering glasses may help if bright or flashing lights are a trigger.
Pay attention to seasonal triggers: Fall allergens and weather changes may contribute to migraines, so tracking when symptoms occur can help identify patterns.
