IVC’s Guzman Strikes Twice! Lasers Blaze Past Santa Ana in Thrilling 2-1 Win

The Irvine Valley women's soccer team secured a 2-1 victory over Santa Ana, marking their third win in the Orange Empire Conference (OEC). Natalia Guzman was pivotal, scoring both goals for the Lasers, bringing her total to five this season and placing her seventh in conference goals. Despite numerous scoring opportunities and a late-game goal from Santa Ana, the Lasers maintained their lead. Irvine Valley now holds a 4-8-0 overall record and is tied for fourth in the OEC standings. Their next game is on Friday at Saddleback at 3 p.m.

Microsoft Addresses 103 Vulnerabilities in October 2023 Patch Tuesday Release!

As mentioned on yesterday’s issue, maintaining updated software and system is crucial. For this month's Patch Tuesday, Microsoft just released updates to fixed 103 computer safety issues, including two very serious ones that bad actors were actively taking advantage of. They sorted these issues into different types, like 45 that could let someone else control your computer remotely, and 26 that could let someone get unauthorized special access, among others.
