Nutrients such as vitamins A, C and E, zinc, lutein, zeaxanthin and other antioxidants support the retina, help protect against oxidative damage and may reduce the risk of cataracts, macular degeneration and dry eyes. Good nutrition is especially important for children as their eyes and vision continue to develop.

Eye-Healthy Recipes

  • Turkey Zucchini Burgers with Zesty Lemon Yogurt Sauce: Zucchini provides lutein, zeaxanthin and vitamin C, while turkey adds zinc and vitamin B12. Herbs, spices and lemon provide additional antioxidants and nutrients that support long-term eye health.

  • Frozen Watermelon & Kiwi Skewers with Chili-Lime Salt: Watermelon provides lycopene, beta-carotene and hydration, while kiwi is rich in vitamin C, lutein and zeaxanthin. Together, they make a refreshing, kid-friendly snack packed with nutrients.
