Movement as Medicine: How Exercise Can Help People Living with Parkinsonโs

Here are some helpful ways to stay active:
Keep Moving: Walking, swimming, and cycling can improve endurance and heart health.
Build Strength: Light weights and resistance bands can help strengthen muscles and improve posture.
Improve Balance: Stretching and balance exercises can reduce stiffness and help prevent falls.
Support Brain Health: Regular movement may improve memory, coordination, and emotional well-being.
Set a Weekly Goal: Aim for 150 minutes of moderate exercise per week, based on individual abilities and medical advice.

Cat Litter Guide: Understanding the Different Types and Their Benefits

Choosing the right cat litter can make a big difference in your catโs comfort and your daily cleaning routine. Hereโs a simple guide to help cat owners understand the different options:
Natural Litter: Made from materials like corn, wheat, pine, or recycled paper. Often eco-friendly, lightweight, and low in dust, but sometimes more expensive.
Clay Litter: Affordable, absorbent, and good at controlling odors, but can be dusty, heavy, and less environmentally friendly.
Crystal Litter: Made from silica, absorbs moisture and controls odors well, but may feel uncomfortable on sensitive paws.
Clumping Litter: Forms solid clumps for easy scooping and everyday cleaning.
Non-Clumping Litter: Absorbs moisture but usually needs more frequent replacement.
Helpful Tip: Choose litter based on your catโs comfort, health needs, and your cleaning preferences. If your cat has allergies or respiratory sensitivities, consider low-dust options, and always introduce new litter gradually.
