Intermittent Fasting: A Simple Path to Weight Loss and Wellness

Intermittent fasting, a practice of limiting food intake to specific hours or days, is gaining attention not only for weight loss but also for broader health benefits.
Research highlights two effective methods: the 16:8 plan (eating within an 8-hour window daily) and the 5:2 plan (restricting calories two days a week).
This metabolic switch from glucose to ketones can reduce inflammation, lower blood sugar, improve heart health, support memory, and even reduce risks of diabetes, cancer, and neurological diseases.
While not suitable for everyone, easing into fasting and staying flexible makes it more sustainable.
With benefits from better energy to aiding surgery recovery, intermittent fasting offers a promising strategy for long-term health.
