Orange County USAR Team Returns After Hurricane Rescue Missions on East Coast

Forty-four Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) specialists from Orange County have safely returned after assisting in search and rescue efforts following Hurricanes Helene and Milton on the East Coast. The rest of their team, along with specialized equipment, is expected to return on Thursday. This marks Orange County’s first Type 1 deployment in 16 years.
