Irvine Animal Care Center Shares Baby Wildlife Safety Reminder
![]() | ![]() |
Spring often brings more baby animals into view, and while they may be adorable, it is safest to give them space and avoid intervening as stepping in can unintentionally cause stress or separate them from their mother.
๐ฃ Observe from a distance โ enjoy watching without getting too close
๐ฟ Do not pick up or move the animal unless it is clearly in danger
๐ Remember mom is often nearby even if you do not see her right away
๐ Call Animal Services for help if the baby animal is injured, in distress, or orphaned
